Easter was a bit different this year, as I'm sure you all can attest to. But we tried to still make it special by having a nice family meal at home. We tried to keep it a bit lighter with mostly Skinnytaste recipes, but of course I couldn't resist an opportunity to make a few cookies to suit the occasion as well!
We started off with this cornbread recipe, which is gluten free, even though we didn't need the recipe to be gluten free for this particular meal. It's just absolutely my favorite cornbread recipe I've tried!

The main event was of course the ham, and I love this simple recipe from Skinnytaste for minimal ingredients with maximum return. Major upgrade to the glaze packets that come with these hams.

Then we have the sides, which I naturally made too many of for our family of six, but who doesn't love leftovers? These are all from Skinnytaste with the bacon wrapped green beans being a family favorite - no one complains about eating these delicious vegetables! I also made the potato gratin two ways, one with regular and one with sweet potatoes, both were great, but sweet potatoes take less time to cook so you'll need to adjust for that.

Finally, time for dessert! I'm a firm believer that cookie trays are not only for Christmas, so I made a variety of cookies for dessert this time. I also love making M&M cookies with seasonal colors or flavors.
