The buttermilk in the recipe gives them a slight biscuit quality, but we also love biscuits so that's completely fine in our book! I use a large cookie scoop to portion mine out and drop them on a Silpat sheet for baking.
They are so tasty that it can be hard to limit yourself to just one, but otherwise they are a huge hit for us! We like to eat them warm with just a bit of butter but you don't really need to.
