These butter and jam thumbprints from Food Network have quickly become one of my most requested cookies. The butter dough is so tender and delicious and is the perfect vessel for jam. These thumbprint stamps from Williams-Sonoma really elevate your classic thumbprint cookie. It's just as easy as actually sticking your thumb into some cookie dough, but comes out beautiful! I haven't had much success with the rectangle in the set, but the heart and the circle have been very good to me. I love making the heart shape with some strawberry or raspberry jam for Valentine's Day (or Galentine's Day!)
Our favorite flavor combo has been with strawberry jam, but we've also tried it with fig and it was also very tasty! (And no, we don't get any special fancy jam, it's usually whatever is in the fridge.)
